If you're wondering why the picture quality is so different, it's because I was motivated enough by my move (and going back to school, eep!) to start using my camera again!

ZOYA!!
So if you've checked out my Instagram feed (or if you would be so kind as to follow me at ebcdaily! I have no followers and it makes me sad lolz.) you've already seen these bad boys, as well as admittedly filtered swatches of both Zoya Ivanka and FeiFei. Both of these polishes are an absolute dream, and I still have four more to play with! I used my new Color Club striping polishes for the "art" on both manis.

Experiment: "Tribal" Nails
I picked up a set of 7 Color Club nail art polishes with striping brushes for $10 at Marshall's the other day, and I've been itching to try them out, so here you are:
They were pretty easy to use, although I had a few problems keeping my lines as neat on my right hand! I did bring out my dotting tool to do the dots, since I wasn't really able to get dots where I wanted them with the brushes. The white polish was also a little prone to smearing when I did a top coat of Seche Vite, but that was easily avoided by "floating" the top coat so you don't actually touch the nail art with the brush. The base coat is China Glaze "Escaping Reality" from their Cirque du Soleil Worlds Away Collection.

New Year's Eve Mani...Kind Of
I went to Austin for NYE, which was great fun AND I got to see one of my best friends from school and we drank mini pitchers of booze and made friends with the bartender and it was fantastic. My nail were also fantastic...unfortunately, they did not survive very well. I did them the night before NYE and planned to take a picture the next day. New Year's Eve AND Day were cold and rainy and gross though, and my nails weren't really in great shape after a night out. However, my pinky nails held on, so y'all kind of get a shot of them!
Yes, I do have a pink Realtree Otter Box on my phone. TEXAS! Two coats of Seche Vite pretty much sealed the studs and rhinestones on (from Born Pretty Store), with a few unfortunate, but basically unnoticeable bubbles. The base color is Essie/Butler Please from the Winter 2012 Collection.
Playoffs Nails, Texans Style
I guess my luck reversed itself for playoffs, because the Texans won today! I ultimately want the Broncos to win it all, but I'll cheer for Houston until they potentially face off. I will admit, I did just switch up a color from the Broncos mani I did waaay at the beginning of the season.
Colors Used: Julep/Eileen and Gunta, Sephora by OPI/And A Cherry On Top
